5# Create Your first Virtual Machine on Virtual Box

In this article, we will walk you through the process of creating your first virtual machine in Oracle VM VirtualBox and installing Ubuntu on a virtual machine. Please follow the procedure described below.
Requirements:
Download and install VirtualBox virtualbox.org/wiki/Downloads
Download Ubuntu ISO Image (LTS)
- Open Oracle VM VirtualBox Manager
- At the top of the window, click on the New in order to create a new virtual machine.
- Under Name and Operation system choose a descriptive name and destination folder for the new virtual machine and select the type of operating system you intend to install on it select the ISO Image of Ubuntu and then click Next.
- simply click on the next
Allocate a minimum of “2048” MB of Memory (equal to 2 GiB) and a minimum 2 CPUs and then click on next.
Allocate at a Minimum of 25 GB hard disk and you can allocate more and then click on next.
Click on Finish.
Congratulation. You have successfully created your first virtual machine in the Oracle VM VirtualBox.

Note : If you does not change password your password will be "changeme" so use this password for login.
